Day 1: Arrive in Mumbai
Upon arrival at Mumbai International Airport, you will be warmly received by your driver and escorted to your hotel. Complete your check-in and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, begin your exploration of Mumbai, a dynamic city where colonial-era Victorian Gothic architecture blends seamlessly with modern developments. Your city tour will cover the iconic Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Towers of Silence, and Dhobi Ghat—Mumbai’s unique and colorful open-air laundry. Continue to Mani Bhawan, a museum dedicated to the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, followed by visits to the serene Hanging Gardens and bustling Crawford Market. Day 2: Half-Day Excursion to Elephanta Caves
This morning, embark on a half-day excursion to the Elephanta Caves (please note: closed on Mondays). Located on Elephanta Island, these ancient rock-cut caves are accessible by a scenic ferry ride (ticket approx. ₹750 per person, at own cost). Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, the Elephanta Caves are dedicated primarily to Lord Shiva, featuring exquisite sculptures such as Shiva Nataraja (the cosmic dancer) and Yogisvara (Lord of Yogis). The site also contains grand halls, temples, and intricately carved stone structures that represent a masterpiece of Indian rock-cut architecture. Later in the afternoon, visit the revered Haji Ali Dargah, situated on an islet off the coast. Then, unwind at Juhu Beach and Girgaum Chowpatty, two of Mumbai’s famous beachfront spots. Day 3:Mumbai City Tour
Post breakfast, head out for another immersive day of sightseeing in Mumbai. Visit the popular Siddhivinayak Temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha, followed by a stop at Mahalaxmi Temple, known for its spiritual ambiance. Later, explore the ancient Kanheri Caves, located within Sanjay Gandhi National Park—these caves date back centuries and reflect the Buddhist influence on the region. After a fulfilling day, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Departure from Mumbai
